Daily safety check-ins

One tap a day. Peace of mind for everyone.

StillHere is a daily check-in app for people who live alone — and for the families who love them. Tap one button to say you're OK. If a check-in is ever missed, StillHere reaches out, step by step, until someone knows.

StillHere is not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency call 911.

A small daily habit that says a lot

Every day, during a window you choose — say, 9 to 11 in the morning — StillHere asks one simple question: are you OK? One tap answers it. Your family doesn't have to call every morning “just to check”, and you don't have to wear anything, charge anything extra, or change how you live. Independence stays intact; the safety net is quietly there.

Set a schedule

Pick a daily check-in window that fits your routine — every morning, evening, or both. You (or a family member helping set things up) can adjust it any time.

Tap “I'm OK”

During your window, tap the one big button. That's the whole job. Add an optional mood note if you feel like it — or don't.

Missed? StillHere escalates

If a check-in is missed, StillHere reaches out — gently at first, then more urgently:

Push notification reminderSMS — just reply “OK”Automated phone call — press 1Emergency contacts alerted

Built for real life — and real families

Big type, plain words, and nothing to fiddle with. Trusted by the person checking in and the people checking on them.

One-tap check-ins

A single giant button. No passwords to remember, no menus to dig through. Designed for hands and eyes of every age.

Automatic escalation

Miss a check-in and StillHere takes over: a push reminder, then an SMS, then a phone call, then alerts to your emergency contacts.

Works even when the app is closed

The escalation engine runs on our servers — not the phone. A dead battery or closed app never means a missed alert.

Guardian dashboard

Family members see at a glance that Mom checked in this morning — without phone tag, and only what she chooses to share.

Vacation & snooze mode

Heading to the cottage or staying with family? Pause check-ins for a day or a month — no false alarms, no worried calls.

Private by design

Your location is shared only if you opt in, and only when an alert goes out. Export or delete your data any time, right in the app.

Simple, honest pricing

Start free. Upgrade when you want SMS and phone-call escalation, or to watch over the whole family. Prices in USD; billed through the App Store or Google Play.

Questions, answered plainly

The things families ask us most. Something else on your mind? Email hello@stillhere.app.

Is StillHere a medical alert or emergency service?
No. StillHere is a check-in and notification tool that helps the people you choose know you're OK. It does not contact 911 or any emergency dispatcher. In an emergency, always call 911.
What happens if I miss my check-in?
StillHere starts a gentle escalation: first a push notification reminder, about 30 minutes later an SMS you can simply reply "OK" to, then an automated phone call where you press 1 to confirm. If there's still no response, your emergency contacts are alerted with your last check-in time — and your last known location if you opted in to sharing it. All timings are adjustable.
Does the person being checked on need a smartphone?
The one-tap check-in lives in our iOS and Android app, so yes — but on Premium and Family plans they can also check in by simply replying "OK" to the reminder text or pressing 1 on the automated call, which works on any phone.
Do my emergency contacts need the app or an account?
No. Contacts are alerted by SMS (and email on Family plans), and each alert includes a private status link they can open in any web browser — no download, no sign-up.
Is my location tracked?
Not by default. Location sharing is off unless you turn it on, and even then it's only included when an alert is sent to your contacts — never continuously tracked or sold.
What if I'm travelling or just want a break?
Turn on vacation mode. Check-ins pause, nobody gets alerted, and your contacts can see that you're intentionally taking a break rather than missing check-ins.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and you can cancel any time in your store account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Is StillHere available in my country?
We're launching in Canada and the United States first. SMS and voice-call escalation use local numbers in both countries. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment we're live.
